Praise God, the word of God truly works and I am yet to see where it has failed. Last week was our week of recovery and beauty and when pastor made the declarations in service i held on to them firmly.
In the month of march our fasting month, i made a payment with my fair money atm card. The transaction was declined but I was debited, ( This being an online bank app it was a source of concern to me since there was no physical bank i could walk into to rectify the issue. I tried contacting their customer care personnel with no positive response. The countless emails I sent were unattended to and the money wasn’t refunded. The amount was small so i decided to let it go.
Then in the first week of this month of may, the same thing happened again when I used my ATM card. In this case i was debited #10k for a declined transaction that didn’t reach the beneficiary account. The next day I made a transfer to the same account for another #10k and it still didn’t reflect though I was debited and it showed successful transaction from my end. This made the total amount #20k I had seemingly lost in two days in two days that I didn’t spend just gone like that in 2 days. In frustration I made up my mind not to do business with that bank again. Then I remembered who I was: a tither, i had not defaulted whenever it came to paying my tithe. Therefore I spoke up in prayer and said the devourer is rebuked for my sake and I can’t loose money.
What was even more painful was that this money debited from my account wasn’t mine. I had kept it in my account on behalf of someone.
But in this week of recovery my change began.
On Monday, the 10k that I transfered was reverted to my account and i was very excited, thinking it was a coincidence. Next on Wednesday the 2nd 10k declined was also reverted. Finally the first little amount that I had let go came in on Friday during our all night prayers. I was super joyful as i saw the restoration completed on my behalf and I was reminded that truly God is faithful.
Glorryy!!!
